In addition to attending Bible classes three times a week, students are required to attend a chapel service every Monday and Friday. Parents are welcome to attend these services, which begin at 11:25 am.

-Academic English
- Total Credits: 1
• 400 vocabulary words with a cumulative test at the end of the year.
• Focuses on British literature.
• Reading of at least eight novels during the year Focusing on British authors. Some of the books read include Great Expectations, Robinson Crusoe, and Mere Christianity.
• Our textbook covers from Beowulf through to modern British writers. The writing assignments are varied with at least two research papers during the year. Some grammar is taught.
- Honors English
- Total Credits: 1
• 400 vocabulary words with a cumulative test at the end of the year.
• Focuses on British Literature.
• Reading of at least eight novels during the year focusing on British authors and we read one French novel.
• The text covers British literature from Beowulf to modern English writers. At least eight novels are read. Novels include The Count of Monte Cristo, The Great Divorce, The Picture of Dorian Gray, A Tale of Two Cities and Frankenstein. This class also covers a book on the short story.
• Writing assignments include the writing of a ten page short story, extensive analysis of short stories, a novel project and various other assignments. • This class requires an extensive amount of work outside of the classroom. Some grammar is taught.
