In addition to attending Bible classes three times a week, students are required to attend a chapel service every Monday and Friday. Parents are welcome to attend these services, which begin at 11:25 am.

English
- Academic English
- Total Credits: 1
 
• Focuses on American Literature
• 400 vocabulary words
• Step by step approach to writing a research paper, a literary analysis, multiple essays of varying styles
• students also read at least seven novels by American authors

- Honors English
- Total Credits: 1
 
• 400 vocabulary words with a cumulative test at the end of the year.
• Focuses on American Literature.
• Reading of at least eight novels together during the year all written by American authors. Examples of the novels assigned include, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Scarlet Letter, Deerslayer, To Kill a Mockingbird, O Pioneers, and The Great Gatsby.
• We cover American Literature from the time of the American Indians to modern American literature. Writing assignments vary based on the literature. Some grammar is taught.
Math

- Academic Geometry
Students will learn the basics of geometry including vocabulary and theorems, completing formal proofs, relationships between figures ranging from one to three dimensional space. Polygons will be used throughout the course with an emphasis on triangles, quadrilaterals, and circles. In addition, students will periodically review basic algebra concepts to maintain skills from previous years.

Computer
Our computer lab is equipped with thirty-one networked computers and variuos computer software programs. Our high school library has five computers available for student use.
• Desktop Publishing - Students will learn to assemble reading material in interesting and professional ways, as well as learning to prepare this information for printing.
World History I & Honors World History I

• Study of World History from creation up until the 1600's.
